Since his music surfaced last year, Allan Rayman has managed to maintain a sense of mystique by making himself virtually unreachable. It’s a difficult thing to do in this day and age, which is what makes the Toronto artist so infuriatingly cool. That, and his songs are also flawless. Rayman’s latest single “25.22” exemplifies his alt-R&B style, while further emphasizing the mystery of why he hasn’t exploded yet. Maybe it’s because he will only let us connect with him through his music, which is easy to do when the songs are this raw and imaginative.
