Montreal’s Blood and Glass just debuted a new video for their alt-pop track “Whiskey.” The song itself arrives at a place between singing and speaking, a rhythmic staccato guiding singer Lisa Moore through a dark backing track with the occasional glassy twinkle. Directed by visual artist Brigitte Henry, the video is a Lynchian distortion of a club scene, making even the most familiar props feel strange and uncomfortable. “Whiskey” is off of the duo’s upcoming album, Punk Shadows, out this winter via Simone Records.
