Rock Goddess For Life.

Just under two weeks ago, Stevie Nicks appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone for the first time since 1981. Her interview reopens and retells stories of Fleetwood Mac and Nicks’ histories that will never cease to enliven a magical, nostalgic glow. In honor of her feature, Nicks released this gruff and cut down version of “Blue Water” earlier today that is haunting and beautiful in all the ways that we remember. (h/t Billboard)

Avi Buffalo Is No More.

Avi Buffalo came to a bit of a dispiriting end this afternoon when creator and frontman Avi Zahner-Isenberg confessed via Facebook that the project had “gone too far,” and came to the point of making him “wake up sick, confused, depressed and out of touch with […] current music’s existence.” After citing a few more of his frustrations and worries, Zahner-Isenberg concluded on a slightly more hopeful note, explaining that he’s looking forward to spending the next stage of his career collaborating with artists across all genres and histories. Well, until we meet again.

Working on a Whole New Way.

An exciting announcement from Twin Shadow broke this morning when he shared a tracklist, a teaser video, and the album art for his forthcoming LP Eclipse. His announcement described the fluctuations of self-discovery and recognition that became vital to the album’s creation, and he marked it as the grand evidence for all that he has become as an artist. Also, the album drops this March 17th – better known as St. Patty’s Day – so anticipation is already pretty high. Read the details of his release here. (h/t Pitchfork)
