Neon Indian mastermind Alan Palomo is trying his hardest to introduce the fratty masses to some solid older music – the stuff he grew up on (or more likely his parents did). Earlier this year he sat down for a Stereogum curated interview with Peter Gabriel. Now he has taken on the T. Rex classic “Children of the Revolution”. In a twist of indie music irony, maybe Palomo is a child of the chillwave revolution? The Violent Femmes took on the tune as well a few years ago. Who does it better?
