After months of teasing a new project, Dirty Projectors finally unveiled the details of their seventh album today—with a new track release to boot. The self-titled album drops Feb 24 via Domino Records, and will feature previously-released singles “Keep Your Name” and “Little Bubble.” The group’s new track, “Up In Hudson,” tacks a bare, tribal melody onto harmonic vocals with lyrics reference Kanye and 2Pac. Just don’t be spooked by its eight-minute run—founder Dave Longstreth’s fluttering, orchestral vocals almost act as an instrument altogether, enough to keep listeners entertained throughout.
