As a supplement to Brooks’ post on Black Girls from a few weeks back, I’ve decided to share a little home cooking with you all as well. Stretching outside of our DC metro a bit, I’ve reached down south to bring in Eternal Summers from Roanoke, Virginia. This adorable duo just released a video for their drowsy track, “Safe At Home,” which appears like it was filmed inside of a blanket fort. The video fits the subdued nature of the track, which I find fairly comforting. And as a bonus, here’s my favorite track of theirs, “Pure Affection,” which was released last summer.
