Frank Ocean‘s enigmatic appearing act is something of a modern legend. He doesn’t always come around, but when he does he sets fires everywhere he goes. Today he’s sharing a cover of “Moon River”, the eternal classic to which so many artists have paid homage. Originally performed by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast At Tiffany’s, the track has not only stood the test of time, but made itself a go-to for musicians from all walks to show their chops. Frank’s take is of course in his own style with harmonies phasing in and out like a Boyz II Men jam with a minimalist approach. Where has he been? Right here all along. Is this a taste of a follow-up to Blonde? We certainly hope so. Listen below.
