It’s all about “Presentation”, the latest dance number by Brooklyn’s own French Horn Rebellion. Produced by the L.A.-based Champagne (who worked with #ATGFallClassic artist Betty Who, the new single was composed entirely on the French horn, to which any musician can attest is a strange instrument that isn’t the first choice when developing a neo-disco hit. Nevertheless, leave it to these guys to do just that – getting those hips moving from charming resonance on an infinite track. It’s hard to be surprised by music these days, and this talented duo know just which soulful notes to hit. Listen below.
On the new single, FHR’s Robert Perlick-Molinari says, “We’ve all been there. It’s rare, but it happens. You go on a first date, and you immediately fall in love. What a predicament. You’re lovesick, but in that moment, you don’t even know if the object of your affection is interested! What do you do? Nobody likes a ‘nice guy,’ but then again… nobody likes a creep. Conventional wisdom says you gotta walk the line between who you are, and who you want to be— your presentation is all you got. But will this truly save you from heartache, or just send you farther down the path of insecurity?”
