Magic Man – Paris

Passion Pit and the Postal Service are easy comparisons to throw around in indie-electronic circles, but rarely does a band manage to capture the essence of those two genre pioneers. Enter Magic Man. The Providence-by-Boston outfit wowed us nearly a year ago with their ability to capture and build upon these influences with their 2010 full-length, Real Life Color. The band is now ready to take things to the next level in 2013, starting with “Paris.” The track shows Magic Man in their element, executing their trademark synth-pop with ease while tossing in some Matt & Kim-style piano licks in there for good measure. We like what we hear. Stream the track below.
