Owen – Lost

Owen — a.k.a. Chicago alt-rock legend and American Football frontman Mike Kinsella — gives us a preview of his upcoming album The King of Whys with “Lost.” The track beautifully incorporates soft guitar, clear vocals and a crescendo of strings. Lyrically it embodies a rock n’ roll attitude. Kinsella sings, “Stay poor and die trying / take the drugs I didn’t take / pay the whores I didn’t lay cause I was too afraid that I might like it,” all the while playing a rather peaceful tune.
