Coming off of the release of his second studio album, Skin, Flume brought his tour to Washington D.C. for back-to-back sold out shows at the 9:30 club. Opening for him on Friday night were producers Basenji and the duo Kenton Slash Demon, who brought futuristic sounds to get the crowd energized. Fans were camped out early to get inside the venue, and they made their anticipation known, bouncing around and starting chants while waiting for Flume to come out. When he did emerge for his set, he brought energy with him as he bounced around the booth, clapping his hands, and banging his MIDI controllers with a drumstick while performing hit songs like “Sleepless.” He finished off the set with his remix of Disclosure’s song “You & Me,” and encored with “Drop the Game” and “Tiny Cities.” Check out our photos from the show below.
