Remember the first time you heard The Shins? Well Two Cartoons‘ “Dreams” is about to make you feel nostalgic as fuck. The New-Zealand-by-London twosome’s latest is a brilliant piece of classic indie-pop that also echoes the sunny likes of Best Coast and Band Of Horses. The song is about singer Bradley Craig’s experiences being younger than all his friends. Speaking on the track, “Up until very recently I’ve always tried to act older than I am, and fit in with an older crowd. I guess what I was trying to say with ‘Dreams’ is enjoy what you have right now and don’t get too far ahead of yourself, but then again, don’t dwell on the past.” It shines through. Listen below, and stayed tuned for new on a debut album out later this year.
