Preview: O’Brother @ Howard Theatre

Were it not for Favorite Gentlemen, I fear that some of the South’s rock gems would go unnoticed to the rest of the country. Fortunately, the Manchester Orchestra-helmed label is around and ready to bring us some of the finest acts Georgia and beyond has to offer, like O’Brother. Drawing from every prefixed rock sub-genre you can think of, this unpeggable Atlanta outfit’s latest album, Garden Window, is a gritty 11-track collection of genre-bending rock music. The band’s lead single, “Lo,” is a low-tuned, Queen of the Stone Age-inspired track that has an equally rebellious video to match. Check it out above, and make sure to watch all the way through to its strange, twist ending. Garden Window is out now on Favorite Gentlemen/Triple Crown.

You can catch O’Brother opening for Thrice along with Animals As Leaders tomorrow, May 23rd at the Howard Theatre. Tickets are available HERE.
