Shura – The Space Tapes

Shura is one of those few dazzling artists who are put forward by numerous music-news outlets and blogs for being the “artist to watch.” Praised by Stereogum and The FADER, while also featuring on BBC’s Sounds of 2015, the London-based artist has been working hard and is finally putting out her much-anticipated debut album, Nothing’s Real, after she created international buzz with her first single “Touch” two years ago.

Stereogum describes Shura’s latest piece “The Space Tapes” as “a 9-minute ambient electronic epic”, and the official video is hallucinogenic to match that ambience. This English singer-songwriter-producer-DJ (yes, she’s killing the game) released it to be the closer track for Nothing’s Real, set to be released July 8th on Polydor Records. Listen above.
