Brooklyn newcomers Stay Inside are sharing their hard-hitting, post-hardcore single “Radio Silence”. As a taste of their forthcoming debut EP, the band explore elements of early emo and hardcore while pushing forward in an era that remembers these sounds well, but has been itching for some twists. As advocates in the struggles of our turbulent times, the band makes this fact known with their visceral style. Their debut EP As You Were is out April 21st, so stay tuned for more info and listen below.
On the new single, guitarist and vocalist Bartees Cox, Jr. says, “Thematically, Radio Silence is a song about how people in relationships change over time and the choices people have to make to get through those situations. By the end of the song, we get to a point where we’re just happy to be drinking and partying instead of worrying about the next hard decisions and changes that are to come.”
