Intuition. We rely on it every day, yet we’re not exactly sure where it comes from. Sirma‘s latest single of the same name addresses straddling that line between reason and emotion, and how the Istanbul-by-NYC songstress always turns to it in times of doubt.

Sirma’s video for “Intuition,” which we’re premiering here on ATG today, combines the art of a friend and Istanbul painter. She says of the work, “I reconnected with a high school friend of mine from my hometown Istanbul, an incredibly talented painter, Nazlı Ceren Özerdem. I saw this beautiful old wedding dress she painted on while I was looking through her online portfolio one day; it was basically a gorgeous, wearable painting, and I instantly fell in love with it.” The video weaves the scenes painted onto the dress with the Bjork-inspired track. The result is simply stunning. Watch it above, and head over to Sirma’s Soundcloud if you want a free download of the track.
