Who I’m Listening To: Draper

draper

We at ATG have a lot of love for British producer Draper. In fact, we just sung the praises of his latest track, “Want You More” (ft. Sam Sure). He’s working on an EP, slated for release next year, and is collaborating nonstop with the likes of Rita Ora, Lapsley and Abi Ocia. We had him show us What He’s Listening To as he works on this new EP.

Cash Cash & Digital Farm Animals – “Millionaire” (Ft. Nelly)

So catchy and that classic Nelly line brings back all the nostalgia. Cash Cash are so tight with their production they’re always a reference point when it comes to my own mixing.

The Chainsmokers – “Closer” (Ft. Halsey)

Simple but effective song writing, Chainsmokers really know how to write a pop song. It’s interesting seeing their development since “Selfie” which was a little like a joke track.

Hailee Steinfeld, Grey – “Starving” (Ft. Zedd)

So goddamn catchy. Zedd is a phenomenal writer and I always enjoy hearing what he has to offer.

Abi Ocia – “Running”

This girl is going places. I have co-written with Abi in the past, she has such a unique voice that will stand out above the rest. Can’t wait to see what else she’s got coming up.

DJ Snake – “Middle” (Ft. Bipolar Sunshine)

It’s great to hear “heavy” electronic producers write more accessible tracks like this! DJ Snake is nailing it right now.
