Zack Be hits the scene with “Wheels on a Family Church”

Zack Be 2

Followers and fans of D.C.’s local music scene might recognize the name Zack Be, a musician with his hands in a few projects – notably Cartoon Weapons and Skyline Hotel – who play the local circuit to enthusiastic crowds. He’s making his debut today with “Wheels on a Family Church”, an electronic and visual piece reminiscent of science instructionals that would give old Carl Sagan chills. Crisp tones take erratic turns and oscillate the nervous system in unusual and refreshing rhythm, keeping us on track for a shift in styles from the capital. His debut record, Used To, Elsewhere, is out September 1st, with a release show at Black Cat September 3rd that will also see sets by Redline Graffiti and Dawkins. Stay tuned and watch below.
